Selectmen back Bumper Humpers Club trail grant letter

NH MONROE — Monroe Selectmen approve support letter for Bumper Humpers Club trail grant. The board unanimously backed the Monroe Bumper Humpers Club's application for a 2027 Recreational Trail Program grant to purchase trail grooming equipment and drag. The selectmen also voted to pursue a Granite State Clean Fleets grant for a new highway dump truck aimed at reducing diesel emissions and alternative fuel usage.

In separate business, the board established a requirement for Large Trash Day participants to provide driver's licenses to verify Monroe residency and referred Charter franchise renewal to the Administrative Assistant for further inquiry into the timing of the renewal request.
