Selectmen approve agreements for Smutty Hollow property access

NH MONROE — Monroe selectmen move forward on Smutty Hollow infrastructure with property agreements approved. Selectmen Oren Remick and Scott Powers approved three entry and construction agreements at the June 23 meeting, enabling the town to access properties for culvert work on the Smutty Hollow and Lang Road projects. The board also decided to apply for grants for a dump truck and approved use of Veterans Park for a town-wide yard sale.
The selectmen asked the Highway Department to evaluate adding crushed stone to water bars on Hunt Mountain Road to improve passability.
