Monroe Selectmen extend grant, warn over stray goats

NH MONROE — Monroe Select Board approves emergency grant extension through 2027. Selectmen Oren Remick, Brandon Millett, and Scott Powers, in a majority vote, accepted the Emergency Management Performance Grant Amendment, extending the program through August 31, 2027, to support the town's emergency operations plan. The board approved a building permit adjustment for Winchester Drive homeowners adding a utility shed to a garage project and determined to send a warning letter to a resident whose goats have strayed onto town property, noting State Police involvement will follow any further incidents.
The board also approved consolidation of road repairs for Smutty Hollow grading and a culvert replacement near 1743 Coppermine Road into one patch project.
