NH MONROE — Monroe Selectmen agree to reconsider tax-increase findings at PILOT agreement mid-point. A community member presented concerns about the tax increase at the March 24 meeting, prompting the board to defer the matter; selectmen will revisit the issue when the mid-point of the PILOT agreement is reached and a review committee is selected. Highway Superintendent Tom Gould briefed the newly elected board on infrastructure needs, including the required replacement of a culvert on Smutty Hollow Road and ongoing monitoring of the Winchester Drive culvert.
The board also approved a trial dance event at Town Hall, with future events to be decided after the trial.
