NH MONROE — Monroe Selectmen approve prior minutes in routine session. The three-member board unanimously approved August 25 minutes, addressing a water leak on Harley View Drive, a malfunctioning town hall generator to be examined by Pleasant View Electric, and complaints about Plains Road storm drains and a dead skunk. The board approved Administrative Assistant Diane Gibson Smith working late Friday for payroll and accounts payable before the Labor Day closure and serving as Supervisor of the Checklist on State Election Day.
Selectmen also directed follow-up on a recently approved zoning variance and noted road work on Smutty Hollow and Nelson Road is delayed two to three weeks due to equipment.
